I then found Expat Doctors in Bogota. They provide quick replies via whatsapp, you can request a doctor to visit you in the hotel you're staying at or have a videocall. They have an easy booking and payment system. The coordinator Hernan provided excellent care and quick responses to get me to see a doctor and obtain a fit to fly certificate as I was having a lot of trouble with my travel insurance following inaccurate Spanish medical reports from previous doctors/practices who didn't speak English. Dr Julian from Expat Doctors was great, spoke excellent English, and examined me in the hotel and provided the medical report and fit to fly certificate that same night. He was very professional and was far more knowledgeable than most doctors I've seen in my life. This is the only place in Colombia I would trust to go to for anything medical as a foreigner. Because of the earthquake a few weeks ago we lost our documentation and had to return to the US to get it all over again (ouch $$$ last minutes flights and hotels.) The scheduling and payment via WhatsApp was incredibly easy and their receptionist is very quick to respond. Dr. Vargas came to my airbnb and gave me a thorough checkup. Nurse Roa came to my Airbnb a few days later to do some bloodwork and a couple of hours later I had the results of the bloodwork in a .pdf file sent to me.
Dr. Vargas left me a voice message explaining what all of the results actually meant.
Easiest experience visiting a doctor I’ve had in my life!

Was traveling in Bogota for school and had the flu, but wanted to rule out malaria. I contacted them and they responded within 5 minutes. Got a telehealth visit scheduled a couple hours later, and then got an in-hotel visit to get blood work done that same day. Everything was super easy and everyone was extremely nice.
